Application to join the Historical Film Services extras’ database

Historical Film Services is the TV and film division of EventPlan Limited

Please read this first! You may well enjoy being a supporting artiste/specialist extra if...You are able to get up early when necessary; have your own transport or access to it; can accept weekday and weekend engagements at relatively short notice; are patient & don't mind standing/sitting around at times (or all day if need be); don't mind long working hours (usually up to 10 per day); can cope if it's hot, wet and/or cold; will happily work under the direction of others; and (although we generally try to ensure historical accuracy) would not feel obliged to argue the finer points of authenticity even if the director has other priorities!  Rates of pay vary but are not generally less than £80-100 per day (pre-tax and NI deductions), and are usually more if you supply your own costume/kit. You are unlikely to grow rich being an extra, but it can be fascinating and enjoyable work. Assuming your application is accepted, you will join our ever growing database and whilst we don't promise work, you never know. Please note that unlike some extra agencies, we don't charge a fee for you to join.

Please complete this form carefully. Ensure all measurements are accurate (don’t guess or measure yourself, please ask someone else to measure you).  We regret that any illegible or incomplete applications might not be processed (a photo is especially important so please don't forget one).  Thank you.
