The Battle of Orgreave

With the arrival of coke lorries imminent and an occasional stone thrown from the back of the picket line (much to the annoyance of those miners in front), ACC Clement orders up his long shield PSUs (Police Support Units) to form a defensive cordon in front of the non shield officers. Our re-enactment faithfully recreated this and the other key phases of the 1984 confrontation.
