The Battle of Orgreave

The initial police cordon, with some miners returning from a cheeky “inspection” of the line. At first, ordinary “bobbies” protected the entrance to the BSC coking plant, but with mounted police visibly in reserve as a show of force and coke lorries due at the plant, the atmosphere was beginning to change for the worse.
