The Battle of Orgreave

Lancashire Constabulary trainers supplied invaluable help. Here one of their officers explains the use of the long “Met” shield to re-enactors. EventPlan carefully chose appropriate re-enactors for the 80-strong long shield cordon, particularly those who had prior experience with shields, such as members of Roman societies.
