Throughout the filming of Historyonics, the none too serious prime time BBC 1 series, Historical Film Services* assisted with on-set co-ordination as appropriate, sourced specialist walk-ons, supporting artistes and re-enactors as required, as well as helping to ensure that clothing, uniforms and weaponry were as accurate as possible.
On 7 December 2004 writer and presenter Nick Knowles received a Royal Television Award for the series, screened during the Spring.
